The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age of the Understatement

The Age of the Understatement es el nombre del disco debut que ha realizado el dúo formado por el cantante del grupo ingles Arctic Monkeys, Alex Turner y el cantante del grupo The Rascals, Miles Kane.
El 20 de Febrero de 2008, el duo reveló que serían conocidos como The Last Shadow Puppets y que su álbum se titularía The Age of the Understatement cuya fecha de lanzamiento sería el 21 de Abril de 2008. El primer sencillo "The Age of the Understatement" sería lanzado una semana antes, el 14 de Abril, e incluiría una nueva canción titulada "Two Hearts in Two Weeks" acompañada de los covers "Wondrous Place" de Billy Fury y "In the Heat of the Morning" de David Bowie (que Turner menciona como una de sus favoritas). El dúo ha dicho que en esta producción se inspiraron en Scott Walker y en las primeras etapas de Bowie.
